Massive Wildfire -- 90,000 People Evacuated

An unusual early May weather pattern known as an Omega (Ω) block has developed over the central part of North America.  (See the Omega Ω resemblance in the jet stream?)

The unseasonably hot and dry Canadian weather contributed to the sudden - chaotic and intense - evacuation of nearly 90,000 residents in Fort McMurray in Alberta Canada.

In addition, the video of hundreds of narrow escapes is lighting up social media.  Click HERE and HERE for a links to the video. Very intense and unreal. The truly amazing part of all this nearly 2,000 structures have been destroyed, but no deaths or serious injuries have been reported.
